Please review your state laws before doing the following. This may be illegal in some states. If you choose to do so you are doing so at your own risk. We take no responsibility for your actions.

Now this may not be a way to tell exactly every company that will hire a sex offenders but more along the lines of who has a sex offender hired. Yes this is how a sex offender can look for a job. Now there may not be anything good about the sex offender registry but however this information is priceless. If you want a job then start looking at the sex offender registry. There are most likely sex offenders in your area who have jobs. Just start clicking through every single sex offender in your area and write down what their work address. Then go into google and type the address in. This will help you figure out what the company is. You can then go apply at these places. If you do not get hired it won’t be because you are a sex offender.

If this article has helped you out in anyway please share this on your social media accounts or email it to other sex offenders that you may know. Together we can put an end to sex offender unemployment.

Introduction: If you’re considering applying for a job at Walmart and have questions about their hiring practices regarding criminal backgrounds, you’re not alone. Many individuals wonder how past mistakes might impact their employment opportunities. Let’s explore some common concerns and shed light on Walmart’s practices.

Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: Walmart proudly identifies as an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing employment opportunities to qualified individuals from diverse backgrounds. However, it’s essential to understand how their hiring process works in practice, particularly related to background checks.

Navigating Background Checks: One question that often arises is whether Walmart hires individuals with criminal backgrounds, including sex offenders. While Walmart prioritizes safety for both customers and employees, their hiring decisions are based on various factors, including legal regulations, company policies, and the nature of the specific position. According to publicly available information, Walmart conducts thorough background checks as part of their hiring process.

What Background Checks Consider: Background checks can vary depending on the position and company, but they typically examine factors such as criminal history, employment history, education verification, and reference checks. The focus of the background check will likely be on offenses relevant to the job duties and company policies.

Understanding Each Situation: While there may be instances where individuals with certain criminal backgrounds are hired at Walmart, it’s crucial to recognize that each situation is unique. Walmart strives to make fair and informed decisions that align with their commitment to safety and opportunity.

Addressing Misconceptions: It’s natural to hear stories or rumors about Walmart’s hiring practices. However, it’s essential to approach these with caution and skepticism. While there may be instances where individuals feel their applications were unfairly rejected, it’s important to consider the complexities involved in background checks and hiring decisions.

Encouraging Advocacy and Awareness: As we navigate discussions about employment opportunities for individuals with criminal backgrounds, it’s important to advocate for fair and equitable practices across all industries. By raising awareness and engaging in constructive dialogue, we can work towards a society that supports rehabilitation and second chances.

Conclusion: As you explore your employment options, including opportunities at Walmart, it’s crucial to gather information and ask questions. Understanding a company’s background check policies and practices can empower you to make informed decisions about your job search.

Exploring Employment Opportunities for Sex Offenders and Felons

Introduction:

Many sex offenders and felons often wonder if there are any employment opportunities available to them. The good news is, yes! There are indeed jobs that hire sex offenders and felons.

Understanding Employment Dynamics:

It’s important to recognize a key factor: most minimum wage jobs may not be open to hiring sex offenders or felons due to their direct interaction with customers. Companies often perceive hiring individuals with criminal backgrounds as a potential risk to their reputation and customer relations. However, opportunities abound in industries that offer higher pay rates, typically ranging between $10 to $30 per hour.

Industries like manufacturing, construction, and manual labor are often more lenient regarding past criminal histories. These roles prioritize skill and reliability over background checks. Additionally, individuals with higher education levels have an advantage in securing employment, as their qualifications may outweigh concerns about their criminal past. In fact, the demand for highly educated individuals often exceeds the available workforce, creating opportunities for felons and sex offenders with advanced degrees.

Exploring Career Paths:

Furthermore, the Information Technology (IT) field presents promising opportunities for sex offenders. With roles ranging from system administration to cybersecurity, IT positions offer competitive salaries and advancement prospects. Individuals can excel in behind-the-scenes roles while earning substantial incomes, often exceeding $50,000 annually.

Conclusion:

While navigating the job market as a sex offender or felon may pose challenges, it’s essential to remain resilient and explore alternative career paths. By focusing on industries that value skill and education over past mistakes, individuals can find meaningful employment opportunities and contribute positively to society.

Share and Support:

If you found this information helpful, please share it with other sex offenders and felons in your network. Together, we can raise awareness and support individuals in overcoming employment barriers and reducing sex offender unemployment.

Yes, a sex offender can go to college!

Here is what a sex offender needs to do.

First since you likely have been in prison for past a year you are without income for the previous year. A Pell grant is awarded for those with low income in almost every single case. They are easy to get for most people. Let us give you a few quick steps to help you enroll in college.

Step 1:

Stop thinking about what you are going to college for and start thinking about how you are going to do it. Quit putting road blocks up and just accept the fact that you are unable to make up your mind at that point. What’s more important is that you get into college in the first place.

Step 2:

Decide where you want to go and figure out how much it will cost you. A few phone calls to colleges you are interested will help. Remember its better to go to a physical college then a strictly online school. You will meet people there who can be good friends. Just don’t get to friendly because you are a sex offender and you want to keep that on the “down low”.

Things you need to ask the college are…

What financial options do I have? Can you set me up with an appointment with finical aid and a consoler?

Can you mail me a book of your classes and prices?

Do you have online classes?

When do I need to enroll for classes?

These things are just some questions that should be asked. However make your own list to suit your needs. If the people get a little snippy with you just explain you are a new student and you are scared and just really want to make something of your life. They will usually change their tone and become more helpful. they will then tell you that you need to take a placement test to help you figure out your first set of classes. They need to know where to place you before you can even register for classes.

Step 3:

Since by now hopefully you have met with financial aid. They were able to give you the steps you need to take to get your Pell grant and student loans if you need them. Do everything they say. If you can’t figure it out then have someone help you. Do not give up. That is the worst thing you can do. Never give up on yourself. Also to get the max amount of loans you need to be a full time student. If you are not working then this is a great option.

Step 4:

Go in and pay for your classes. They will have your Pell Grant and student loans on file. Its as simple as meeting with the advisor. Followed by a short walk to where you register for classes. You will most likely see a long lineup of students. Its normal and you may need to wait a little while. If you need to have them transfer money to the college book store to get your books do so at this time. Not all colleges work this way. However most do.

Step 5:

Go to the book store and buy your books. They will be expensive but your loans and Pell Grant should pay for them. Most books are between $50 and $200. However there are cheaper options if you just talk to the people at the book store. They may tell you to just buy them off eBay or something.

Step 6:

Find where you classes are and then go home and wait for your first day of school. College is great, We hope you enjoy it.

What College Degrees Can A Sex Offender Get?

Well there really not to many things limiting the different degrees you can get. Aside from a few laws preventing you to get medical or psychological degrees. However the real question should be “who will hire me?” With this question in mind you can make sure you don’t waste your time on a worthless degree.

How do I know what college degree right is for me?

Well its simple really. Degrees that are not involving children or society in general. Unless of course you are going to work for yourself. Some good degrees are CIS (computer information systems) degrees. This is because you can get a job that pays well without the company worrying about you getting to close to others. However it should be noted that getting a network administrator job could be challenging. Only because you would sometimes have to deal with others employees. Some other great CIS jobs would be “cloud architect” or something of that nature. Not to mention a CEH (certified ethical hacker) job might be right up your ally. They expect you to have a criminal history. Video game design and graphic arts are also good. So is web design. All of which you can do.

If you are looking for something a little different try an engineering field. I say this because there is a high likelihood that you may end up working for a factory of some sort. Now this is not a bad thing! You won’t be a low level factory worker. You could be a robotics engineer. Maybe you design the robots that put on car doors? If that does not work try becoming and electrical engineer. They make good money. So do alternative energy engineers.

Well maybe those are not what you are looking for. Either way the most important thing to remember is that you want a degree where you are not around the public to much. Nothing to high security either. However your options are far from limited. Just keep that in mind and you will be fine.

Sex Offenders Can Get SSDI

You may qualify for disability. When you are unable to work because of something that holds you back you may qualify for SSDI. Who knows you may just have an underlying mental condition such a bi-polar or some other learning disability. Many sex offenders that I know are on disability and there is a chance you might qualify for it. If you have a mental health provider check with then and see if they are eligible for it. Also if you have a physical disability this could help play a factor. Do you have bad lower back pain? A lot of people have really bad lower back pain and never even think to try to get on disability for it. We have also heard of sex offenders getting on disability because they were legally disabled because no one would hire them. Their crimes are too horrific and no one would give them a chance. This is something that should be looked into but only after you have tried everything! Remember to never try to con the system it will come back to bite you. If you are truly disabled then yes go for it.

We would also like to mention that if you cannot afford to see a doctor for your potential disorder there is help available. You can apply for help from your state. They will pay for it considering you have no income to afford it. Use these government programs as much as you can.

Also if you can’t find a job go to college. If you have no income the government can usually pay for all of it. If not you can take out student loans. There are options out there for you. Never give up.

Here is a link to check and see if you qualify https://ssdcservices.com/
